Why is Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin Urging People to Have Babies Immediately?
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin voiced strong opposition to the central government’s delimitation plans on Monday, urging the residents of the state to have children immediately. He argued that the state’s successful family planning measures, which have been effective over the years, have now put it at a disadvantage in the context of population-based delimitation.

The Chief Minister’s appeal comes in the midst of a broader political debate over the Centre’s delimitation exercise and the National Education Policy (NEP). Stalin has warned that population-based delimitation could adversely affect Tamil Nadu’s political representation in the future. He urged residents, particularly newlywed couples, to heed his appeal and plan their families immediately so that the state could secure a better position when the delimitation exercise takes place.

What Does MK Stalin Say?

Stalin’s remarks were made during a wedding function of a DMK district secretary in Nagapattinam. He explained, “Earlier, we used to say, ‘take your time and have a baby.’ But now the situation has changed, and we should say it now.” He then went on to criticise the Union Government’s upcoming delimitation policies.
Stalin said, “Now, with policies such as delimitation that the Union Government is planning to implement, we cannot say that. We focused on family planning and succeeded, and we’ve been pushed into a situation like this. So, I would now urge newlyweds to immediately have babies and give them good Tamil names.”

Stalin’s Opposition to the Delimitation Exercise

The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu has been at the forefront of opposing the Centre’s delimitation exercise. Stalin has expressed concerns that the delimitation exercise, which is expected to be conducted after 2026, will put southern states, including Tamil Nadu, at a disadvantage.
He contended that these states, which have effectively implemented family planning measures, may be penalised when delimitation is carried out based on demographic changes. Stalin warned that this could result in southern states having a lesser say in Parliament, despite their significant contribution to the country’s GDP and successful efforts in population control for the country’s welfare.

BJP’s Counter Arguments

In response to Stalin’s remarks, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson CR Keshavan has accused the DMK of engaging in “desperate and dishonest diversionary drama.” He further questioned the DMK’s stance by pointing out that the party had not criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s call for “Jitni Abadi, Utna Haq” (rights proportionate to population), which he argued contradicted the DMK’s position. Keshavan suggested that the DMK was trying to divert attention away from its “gross mismanagement, misrule, and misgovernance.”

What is Delimitation?

Delimitation refers to the process of fixing the boundaries and limits of electoral constituencies in a country or a province, ensuring proper representation in a legislative body, such as the Parliament or Assembly. It involves redrawing the boundaries of the parliamentary and assembly constituencies to reflect changes in population.

Delimitation Commission of India

In India, delimitation is undertaken by the Delimitation Commission, a high-powered body established under the provisions of the Delimitation Commission Act. This body is tasked with redrawing the boundaries of Lok Sabha (House of the People) and State Legislative Assembly constituencies, ensuring that each constituency has roughly an equal number of people.
In India, Delimitation commissions have been set up four times in the past, that is in the years 1953, 1962, 1972 and 2002  under Delimitation Commission Acts of 1952, 1962, 1972 and 2002.

Stalin criticises Centre for “Imposing” Hindi

Furthermore, Stalin also criticised the Centre’s attempts to impose Hindi through the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), while appealing to the state BJP not to boycott an all-party meeting called to discuss the delimitation issue.
“I have convened an all-party meeting on March 5 to discuss our stand on delimitation. Forty registered political parties have been invited, and the majority have agreed to attend. A few may skip it, but they should understand that this is not just a DMK issue; it is a problem for the entire state,” Stalin stated. “So I urge everyone to stand together for the welfare and rights of Tamil Nadu.”

The Supreme Court of India tackled the issue of online content control on Monday, following the backlash caused by podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial statements. Allahbadia, who goes by the name BeerBiceps, stirred up trouble with an unsuitable remark on the show “India’s Got Latent,” hosted by comic Samay Raina. His comment, which included a vulgar question about parents and sex, drew sharp criticism from many social media users and led to several police reports being filed.
At the hearing, Justice Surya Kant made it clear: “We don’t want any regulatory regime which is about censorship, but it also cannot be a free-for-all all platform.” He stressed that while the Court opposes censorship, some rules are needed to keep content within what society finds acceptable. The Court told the Centre to come up with a plan to regulate social media content. This plan should be shared so everyone involved can give their thoughts before anything else happens.

Solicitor General Highlight Need for Content Regulation

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta stated that digital platforms must be operated according to the societal norms of India, which may be vastly different from those in other nations. He further stated that while the burning of a national flag may be acceptable in other societies, it is considered a crime in India. He said that the content should not violate accepted standards of decency and morality.
The Court also made it clear that humor should be enjoyable for everyone and not rely on offensive language. “Humour is something that the entire family can enjoy. Using filthy language is not humour,” Justice Kant stated, underscoring the need for quality, non-vulgar entertainment.

Big Relief for Ranveer Allahbadia

In a key development, the Court allowed Allahbadia’s YouTube show, The Ranveer Show, to resume under the condition that he maintains “morality and decency” in his content. The Court instructed him to ensure that his shows were suitable for viewers of all ages.
The Court’s ruling reflects a growing need for a regulatory framework that balances free speech with societal values, ensuring that digital content remains respectful of public morality.

Every year, World Wildlife Day is celebrated on March 3 to spread awareness about the importance of wildlife and environment. Just like our environment helps us to survive by acting as a source of oxygen, food and water, wildlife is essential for the earth as they help to maintain biodiversity.
The theme for World Wildlife Day 2025 is “Wildlife Conservation Finance: Investing in People and Planet”. World Wildlife Day 2025 will serve as a platform for exchange and exploration of innovative financial solutions for wildlife conservation. It will showcase financial innovations, the challenges faced by civil society, governments, organisations, and the private sector, and the collaborative approaches needed to ensure sustainable funding for biodiversity.

Tigers are solitary creatures, relying on themselves for survival. While they can be social when necessary, they are self-reliant and independent. From them, we learn the importance of self-reliance, self-love and being happy in one’s own company.

4. Tigers – Adaptability

Tigers can thrive in various habitats, from dense jungles to grasslands to mountains and islands. They show us the significance of being adaptable in our ever-changing world.

5. Tigers – How not to be greedy

Tigers only hunt when hungry and are never greedy hoarders. They only attack if threatened for their life or to protect loved ones. Tigers teach us how not to be greedy, which makes us better humans.

6. Lion – Leadership

A symbol of power, courage and strength, the king of the jungle Lion is known for its charisma and leadership quality, which is something we should learn from them.

7. Lion – Strategy

While hunting its prey, lions wait patiently, walk stealthily and pounce when the time is right. The lesson we get here is it is important to not just jump into it, but make a proper strategy to achieve our goal. We can apply a lion’s strategy in Business Leadership, Problem-Solving and Negotiation in day to day lives.

8. Lion – Self Control & Timing

You must know how to and when to defend yourself. Instead of constantly yelling and complaining, a lion roars only when he has to and that one single roar makes all the difference! Be loud, only when you have to. Choose your battles wisely but never tolerate nonsense.

9. Lion – Resilience

To learn resilience from a lion, we should focus on their unwavering courage, their ability to handle challenges, their strong sense of community within the pride, and their ability to calculated risks to achieve goals, essentially embracing a “never give up” attitude.

10. Lion – Protection and care for family

Lions live in prides, while the lionesses primarily care for cubs, males protect the group, and all members cooperate in hunting and defending their territory, which teaches us shared responsibility, how to prioritize our family, work together, and support each other in maintaining a strong bond!

Indian Man Shot Dead by Jordanian Security Forces While Attempting to Cross Border into Israel
A 47-year-old Indian man Thomas Gabriel Periera was killed by Jordan’s security forces when he tried to enter the border in Israel. The event took place on February 10 on the border of Jordan-Israel. Perierara from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala came to Jordan on a tourist visa and tried to illegally enter Israel with his relatives, Edison, when he was shot. Edison, who had gunshot wounds survived the situation and was later sent to India after receiving medical treatment.
The Indian Embassy in Jordan notified Periera’s family about his death. They confirmed they were working with local officials to send his body back home. The embassy offered their sympathy and promised to help the family get his remains to India. On social media, the embassy posted,  “The Embassy is in touch with the family of the deceased and is working closely with Jordanian authorities for transportation of mortal remains.”

Family Seeks Indian Govt’s Help to Bring Body Back

In a heart-wrenching account, Periera’s wife revealed that the last time she spoke with him was on February 9. According to her, the conversation lasted only two minutes, during which he simply asked her to pray for him. She had no prior knowledge of his plans to travel to Jordan and was shocked to hear of his sudden departure. The family now seeks help from the Indian government to bring his remains home.

How the Incident Took Place

Edison, who was with Periera during the attempt to cross into Israel, explained that they had initially sought to obtain a tourist visa for Israel. However, because they did not meet the requirement of a group of ten, they decided to cross the border on their own with the help of a guide. Unfortunately, they were intercepted by Jordanian border forces. Due to a language barrier, the situation escalated, and security forces opened fire, resulting in Periera’s death and Edison’s injury. Edison later found himself imprisoned and only learned of Periera’s death after returning to India and confirming the news with the embassy.
The incident has raised concerns about illegal immigration, which continues to be a sensitive issue in India. The Indian Embassy in Jordan remains in close contact with the family and is ensuring that Periera’s remains are brought back to India as soon as possible.

उत्तर प्रदेश में अब सरकारी जमीनों पर नहीं हो सकेगा कब्जा
मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने सूबे की सत्ता संभालते ही भू माफियाओं के खिलाफ जीरो टॉलरेंस नीति (Zero Tolerance against Bhu Mafia in Uttar Pradesh) के तहत अभियान छेड़ा। इसी के तहत पूरे Uttar Pradesh में लगातार सरकारी जमीनों को अवैध कब्जों से मुक्त कराने के लिए ताबड़तोड़ कार्रवाई की जा रही है। अब तक पूरे प्रदेश में भू माफियाओं के कब्जे से 68 हजार हेक्टेयर से अधिक जमीन को कब्जा मुक्त कराया गया है। वहीं कब्जा मुक्त जमीनों पर दोबारा कब्जा न हो इसके लिए श्रावस्ती में अभिनव पहल की गयी है। सीएम योगी की मंशा के अनुरूप श्रावस्ती जिलाधिकारी ने सरकारी जमीन की पहचान कर उस पर शिलापट (पट्टिका) लगाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की है, जिस पर भूमि का पूरा विवरण दर्ज होगा। श्रावस्ती की पहल पूरे प्रदेश के लिए रोल मॉडल बनेगी।

शिलापट्ट पर दर्ज होगा भूमि का प्रकार, भूमि की श्रेणी रकबा समेत अन्य जानकारी

श्रावस्ती जिलाधिकारी अजय कुमार द्विवेदी ने बताया कि सीएम योगी के मार्गदर्शन में जिले की सरकारी जमीनों को अवैध कब्जों से मुक्त कराने के लिए लगातार कार्रवाई की जा रही है। इसी के तहत अब खाली सरकारी जमीनों पर शिलापट लगाए जा रहे हैं, जिसमें स्पष्ट किया गया है कि यह भूमि सरकारी स्वामित्व की है और इस पर किसी भी प्रकार का अवैध कब्जा करने वालों के लिए खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि 397 ग्राम पंचायतों में तमाम ऐसी सरकारी भूमि है, जिसकी जानकारी सिर्फ कागजों तक ही सीमित है। जिलाधिकारी ने बताया कि शिलापट में उस भूमि का प्रकार, भूमि की श्रेणी, रकबा, ग्राम सभा व गाटा संख्या आदि दर्ज होगी, जिससे किसी भी व्यक्ति द्वारा गलत ढंग से उस जमीन पर मालिकाना हक जताने की संभावनाओं को खत्म किया जा सके।

शिलापट हटाने पर होगी सख्त कार्रवाई

डीएम अजय कुमार द्विवेदी ने बताया कि सरकारी भूमि (Government Land Uttar Pradesh) पर लगा शिलापट हटाने का कोई प्रयास करता है या फिर भूमि के साथ छेड़छाड़ व कब्जे का प्रयास करता है तो संबंधित के खिलाफ लोक संपत्ति क्षति निवारण अधिनियम के तहत केस दर्ज कर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। साथ ही जुर्माना भी वसूला जाएगा। शिलापट लगने से एक ओर जहां सरकारी जमीनों की पहचान और सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित होगी, वहीं दूसरी ओर लोगों में भी जागरूकता आएगी कि ये जमीन सरकार की संपत्ति हैं और इन पर कब्जा करना गैरकानूनी है। इससे भूमि माफियाओं और अवैध कब्जेदारों के हौसले पस्त होंगे। Land Mafia in UP

Congress Worker Himani Narwal Murdered: Suspect Arrested in Rohtak
Delhi police have arrested a suspect who allegedly murdered the Congress worker Himani Narwal in Rohtak. Police found the 28-year-old Himani’s body put inside a suitcase at the Sampla bus stand on March 1 which initiated a comprehensive investigation. Officers from the police department located Sachin at his Bahadurgarh residence in Delhi two days after discovering the body. Sachin confessed to his crime during questioning by admitting that Himani had forced him to send her money through blackmail. The demands of Himani became so frustrating to him that he decided to end her life at her house in Rohtak. The police discovered Himani’s mobile phone when Sachin got arrested.

Haryana Police Form Special Investigation Team

The police created a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to handle the case by inspecting CCTV footage and forensic results. The investigation became more difficult when police discovered that the suitcase holding Himani’s dead body belonged to her family. The police investigation team verifies that Sachin was arrested as a suspect, had prior interactions with the Himani Narwal.
Himani Narwal gained popularity through the Congress party after joining Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. She maintained close connections with multiple senior party leaders and actively participated in political gatherings. According to the victim’s mother Savita Rani, her daughter’s fast-track progression through the party hierarchy caused other members to develop feelings of envy that potentially led to her murder.

Family Demands Death Penalty

In the wake of the arrest, Himani’s family demanded the death penalty for the accused, as they had been adamant about not cremating her body until justice was served. Her brother, Jatin, expressed frustration with the police’s lack of communication and the spread of rumors about the case. The family remains determined to ensure that the suspect faces the harshest punishment for his actions.

Political Leaders Call for Justice

Haryana political leaders have shown their concern about the increasing crime rates in the state through statements made by Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who demanded immediate justice. According to him, the victim’s family needed clear answers, and the accused should face strict action despite his political connections. The BJP leader Anil Vij stressed the seriousness of the case and the need for a complete investigation.

Delhi Mahila Samman Yojana: दिल्ली की बीजेपी सरकार चुनाव के दौरान किये गए अपने वादे को निभाने के लिए अब महिलाओं को पैसे देने जा रही है। Delhi BJP ने चुनाव से पहले महिला सम्मान योजना (Delhi Mahila Samman Yojana) का ऐलान किया था और कहा था कि महिलाओं को 2,500 रुपये हर महीने देगी। इस वादे को निभाने के लिए महिला सम्मान योजना की रजिस्ट्रेशन की तारीख का आज ऐलान हो चुका है। इस ऐलान के मुताबिक इस योजना के लिए आठ मार्च से रजिस्ट्रेशन शुरू हो जाएगा। भाजपा नेता मनोज तिवारी ने रविवार को ये घोषणा की है।

कब शुरू होगी Delhi Mahila Samman Yojana

दिल्ली में महिला सम्मान योजना के रजिस्ट्रेशन की शुरुआत 8 मार्च के दिन से होगी। 8th March Delhi Mahila Samman Yojana Registration की शुरुआत इसलिए होगी क्योंकि इस दिन महिला दिवस (Womens Day) है और महिलाओं के खाते में 2,500 रुपये रजिस्ट्रेशन के बाद से भेजे जाएंगे। International Women’s Day

किसे नहीं मिलेगा Mahila Samridhi Yojana का लाभ

वे महिलाएं जो सरकारी नौकरी करती हैं उन्हें इस स्कीम का लाभ नहीं मिलेगा।
वे महिलाएं जो इनकम टैक्स का रिटर्न दाखिल करती हैं उन्हें भी इस इस स्कीम का लाभ नहीं दिया जाएगा।
जो महिलाएं पेंशन का लाभ ले रही हैं वे भी इस स्कीम के लाभ से वंचित रह सकती हैं।

किसे मिलेगा Delhi Mahila Samman Yojana का लाभ

इस स्कीम का लाभ आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर महिलाओं को दिया जाएगा।
यह स्कीम आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग की महिलाओं के लिए है।
2500 रुपये की इस राशि को सीधे महिलाओं के खाते में ट्रांसफर किया जाएगा।

दिल्ली की महिलाओं के लिए भाजपा का चुनावी वादा

भाजपा ने आम आदमी पार्टी सरकार की तरफ से दी जा रही फ्री बिजली, फ्री पानी, महिलाओं के लिए फ्री बस जैसी योजनाओं को जारी रखने का आश्वासन देने के साथ, ‘महिला समृद्धि योजना’ के तहत महिलाओं को प्रतिमाह 2,500 रुपए देने का वादा किया था। गरीब महिलाओं को 500 रुपए में सिलेंडर, होली, दीपावली में मुफ्त सिलेंडर के साथ गर्भवती महिला को 21,000 रुपए देने का भी वादा किया गया था। इसके अलावा, भाजपा की तरफ से 60 से 70 वर्ष के बुजुर्गों की पेंशन 2,000 रुपए प्रतिमाह से बढ़ाकर 2,500 रुपए करने का वादा किया गया। 70 वर्ष से ऊपर के बुजुर्गों, दिव्यांगों, विधवा व वंचित महिलाओं की पेंशन राशि 2,500 से बढ़ाकर तीन हजार रुपए करने का वादा, प्रत्येक झुग्गी बस्ती में अटल कैंटीन खोलकर पांच रुपए में भोजन उपलब्ध कराने की भी घोषणा की गई थी।

Yogi Government Natural Farming: जन, जमीन और जल के लिए संजीवनी है रसायन मुक्त प्राकृतिक खेती। इन सबका हित, खेती बाड़ी के स्थाई और टिकाऊ विकास पहले कार्यकाल से ही योगी सरकार की प्राथमिकता रही है। सरकार इसे लगातार विस्तार देने के साथ इसके लिए भरपूर पैसा और किसानों को प्रोत्साहन भी दे रही है। इसके लिए बीज से लेकर बाजार तक सरकार प्राकृतिक खेती करने वाले किसानों के साथ है। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ खुद हर संभव मंच से किसानों को प्राकृतिक खेती के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते हैं। इसी क्रम में सरकार ने तय किया है कि अब सिर्फ गंगा ही नहीं स्थानीय नदियों के दोनों किनारे पर 5/5 किलोमीटर के दायरे में सिर्फ प्राकृतिक खेती होगी। इस बाबत 1886 क्लस्टर बनाए जाएंगे। सरकार इस पर 270.62 करोड़ रुपए खर्च करेगी। हाल में हुई राज्य स्तरीय कृषि समिति की बैठक में इस कार्ययोजना को मंजूरी भी मिल चुकी है। इसके पूर्व कैबिनेट में भी प्राकृतिक खेती और खेत तालाब योजना के लिए इसके पूर्व भी 1191.51 करोड़ रुपए की मंजूरी मिली थी। हाल ही में योगी सरकार की ओर से प्रस्तुत बजट में भी नेशनल मिशन ऑन नेचुरल फार्मिंग के तहत प्राकृतिक खेती को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए 124 करोड़ रुपए आवंटित किए गए हैं।

सरकार की योजना है कि प्रदेश में गंगा सहित सभी स्थानीय नदियों जिन जिलों से गुजरती है उनके दोनों किनारों पर एक दायरे में प्राकृतिक खेती को प्रोत्साहन दिया जाए। ऐसी खेती जिसमें रासायनिक खादों और जहरीले कीटनाशकों की जगह उपज बढ़ाने और फसलों के सामयिक संरक्षण के लिए पूरी तरह जैविक उत्पादों का प्रयोग हो ताकि लीचिंग रिसाव के जरिए रासायनिक खादों एवं कीटनाशकों का जहर इन नदियों में घुलकर उनको प्रदूषित न कर सकें। उल्लेखनीय है कि गंगा के तटवर्ती 27 जनपदों में पहले से ही नमामि गंगे योजना चलाई जा रही है जिसके अंतर्गत रसायनमुक्त खेती को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है। अद्यतन आंकड़ों के अनुसार गंगा के किनारे के 1000 से अधिक गांवों में प्राकृतिक खेती हो रही है। प्राकृतिक खेती को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रदेश के 54 जनपदों में परंपरागत कृषि विकास योजना संचालित की जा रही है। सरकार की मंशा निराश्रित गोवंश के नाते सबसे प्रभावित बुंदेलखंड को प्राकृतिक खेती के लिहाज से उत्तर प्रदेश का हब बनाना है।

योगी सरकार-1 से ही यह सिलसिला शुरू हो चुका है। जिन करीब 5000 क्लस्टर्स में 18000 से अधिक किसान लगभग 10 हजार हेक्टेयर में प्राकृतिक खेती कर रहे हैं उनमें नमामि गंगा योजना के तहत करीब 3300 क्लस्टर्स में 6 लगभग 6500 हैक्टेयर में प्राकृतिक खेती हो रही है। इस खेती से जुड़े किसानों की संख्या एक लाख से अधिक है। इस तरह देखा जाय तो जैविक खेती का सर्वाधिक रकबा गंगा के मैदानी इलाके का ही है। इंडो-गंगेटिक मैदान का यह इलाका दुनिया की सबसे उर्वर भूमि में शुमार होता है। इसी नाते ऑर्गेनिक फार्मिंग एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया की ओर से नवम्बर 2017 में इंडिया एक्सपो सेंटर एंड मार्ट ग्रेटर नोएडा में आयोजित जैविक कृषि कुंभ में विशेषज्ञों ने यह संस्तुति की थी गंगा के मैदानी इलाकों को जैविक खेती के लिए आरक्षित किया जाय। चूंकि हर साल आने वाली बाढ़ के कारण इस क्षेत्र की मिट्टी बदलकर उर्वर हो जाती है, इस नाते पूरे क्षेत्र में जैविक खेती की बहुत संभावना है। यही वजह है कि योगी सरकार-2 में गंगा के किनारे के सभी जिलों में जैविक खेती को विस्तार दिया गया। अब सरकार इसे और विस्तार देने जा रही है। Yogi govt takes major strides to boost chemical-free natural farming.

भारत ने न्यूजीलैंड को हराकर चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी ग्रुप स्टेज में टॉप हो गयी है। INDvsNZ इस जीत के साथ भारत का सेमीफाइनल मैच ऑस्ट्रेलिया (IND vs AUS Champions Trophy Semi Final) के साथ तय हो गया है। चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 की शुरुआत भारत ने बांग्लादेश को हराने के साथ की थी। 6 विकेट से हराने के बाद रोहित शर्मा एंड टीम ने पाकिस्तान को भी 6 विकेट से हराया। न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ तीसरे मैच में उसने 44 रनों से जीत दर्ज की। अच्छी बात ये हैं कि टीम इंडिया ने अभी तक खेले सभी मैचों में आसानी से जीत दर्ज की है।

आपको बता दें कि रोहित शर्मा ने तीनों मैच में टॉस हारा लेकिन सभी मैचों में उसने आसानी से जीत दर्ज कर ली। शुरुआती दोनों मैच उसने लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए जीते जबकि न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ उसने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए जीत हासिल की। अब उसका सेमीफाइनल में सामना ऑस्ट्रेलिया के साथ है।

Vehicles older than 15 years will not be allowed fuel at the city’s petrol pumps, after March 31. This measure will follow several other pollution control measures, including the ban of vehicles older than 15 years within Delhi NCR. Delhi Environment Minister, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, decided on the new rules in a meeting with officials of the environment department.
Along with restricting fuel supply to overage vehicles, Sirsa also announced that it will be mandatory for all high-rise buildings, hotels and commercial complexes in the capital to have an anti-smog gun. 

Pollution Control in Delhi

Petrol vehicles over the age of 15 years and diesel vehicles over the age of 10 years are not allowed to apply within Delhi NCR for several years. These vehicles, however, can be sold in other states after procuring a new objection certificate or NOC.
The new rule will be implemented by installing an AI-enabled camera to check for pollution under control (PUC) certificates. These AI-enabled cameras will detect the age of a particular vehicle and the violators will be denied fuel. 
While cameras at the petrol pump already need an upgrade in the system, many others will be installed soon, according to the state government. The government is also planning to phase out nearly 90% of CNG driven public transport buses in Delhi by December 2025. These will be replaced with electric buses to promote cleaner and sustainable transport.
