RJD leader Bhai Virendra’s tension has increased amid Bihar elections. Taking strict action, the Election Commission has registered an FIR against Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) candidate Bhai Virendra from Maner Assembly seat. An FIR was registered by the Election Commission in the case of violation of model code of conduct. It is known that the first phase voting took place on 6 November.

Uproar at polling booth in Maner

During the first phase of voting, there were reports of ruckus at many polling booths. In such a situation, there was a ruckus at the polling booth in Maner and Virendra had a heated argument with the security personnel. Actually, on Thursday morning Bhai Virendra had come to vote with his wife. As soon as he came out after voting, he alleged that the security personnel were acting arbitrarily by stopping the voters in the queue and trying to create an atmosphere in support of a particular political party.

The incident related video went viral

During that time, Virendra said that making only one line where there are four booths is a way to harass the voters. The matter became more heated after the video of the incident went viral. In the video, brother Virendra is seen arguing with the security personnel. He objects to the security forces checking the identity of voters and says, “You have no right to check… this is not your job.”

Election Commission takes strict action

According to the information, Virendra directly accused the inspector named Tiwari and said in a warning manner that he will not tolerate any kind of favoritism at the booth. Police officials had said that the matter is being reviewed and action will be taken based on whatever facts emerge. In such a situation, the Election Commission accused him of violating the code of conduct and an FIR was registered.
