Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907, in Banga, located in present-day Pakistan’s Punjab province. His activism gained prominence on April 8, 1929, when he and Batukeshwar Dutt deliberately threw bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly in Delhi.
