Actor and politician Kamal Haasan recently expressed his support for the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest via a post on X, highlighting the growing backing from the film industry for students in New Delhi. In his post, Haasan commented on the dire state of the education system, referencing the tragic deaths of children and declaring that the nation had failed them. He articulated his views that the current educational framework prioritises coaching over true learning, leading to anxiety in place of curiosity and fostering an environment where merit is overshadowed by criminality.

Haasan also addressed the ongoing fast of @Wangchuk66, pleading for an end to it, indicating that the nation requires conscience for future progress.
