Indian-Origin Man in US Charged with Drugging, Sexually Abusing Minors

The CSR Journal Magazine

An Indian-origin individual residing in the United States is facing a series of serious criminal allegations, including sex trafficking, child exploitation, and rape. Kulvir S Brar, who operates a liquor store in Vancouver, Washington, was rearrested on March 13 after additional survivors emerged during a continuing investigation. The situation has garnered significant media attention due to both the nature of the allegations and the number of victims involved.

Allegations of Luring Minors via Social Media

According to authorities, Brar utilized the social media platform Snapchat to engage underage girls, reportedly offering them drugs, alcohol, and other incentives in exchange for sexual activities. Investigators allege that he specifically targeted girls as young as 13, complimenting them to build trust before introducing substances such as cocaine, ecstasy, and LSD. He is also said to have used promises of access to his upscale apartment and rooftop pool to further entice potential victims.

Discovery of Multiple Victims

To date, officials have identified at least eight survivors aged between 14 and 19 years, though the actual number of victims is believed to be higher. Police have indicated that Brar’s actions reflect a pattern of sustained exploitation of vulnerable minors over an extended period of time.

Initial Arrest and Expanding Charges

Brar’s initial arrest occurred on December 4, 2025, with charges that included communication with a minor for immoral purposes and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Since that time, the investigation has considerably broadened, leading to an additional 39 charges against him, which encompass multiple counts of sex trafficking, child rape, molestation, sexual exploitation of minors, and the distribution of controlled substances to underage individuals.

Investigation Triggered by a Victim’s Complaint

The investigation began in July 2025, catalyzed by a complaint from a 15-year-old girl to the Oregon Department of Human Services. She alleged that Brar, known to her by the name “Molly,” had coerced her into sexual acts in exchange for vape products. Detectives were later able to connect Brar to the Snapchat handle “pnwmolly.”

Predatory Behavior and Allegations of Intimidation

Reports from police also indicate that Brar specifically targeted minors who were notably vulnerable. In a disturbing instance, a 16-year-old girl, whose family had recently become homeless, was allegedly assaulted while under the influence of alcohol. Another victim recounted being raped on her birthday after being provided with drugs and alcohol to the extent that she could barely stay conscious.

Legal Proceedings and Bail Hearing

Prosecutors have accused Brar of attempting to intimidate his victims, claiming his financial resources and legal representation while even displaying a firearm to bolster his threats. A search of his residence led to the discovery of cocaine, MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms, and various items believed to be related to the alleged crimes, including packaging materials and a SIG Sauer pistol.

Bail Increase and Future Court Dates

On March 16, Clark County Superior Court Judge Christine Hayes raised Brar’s bail from $500,000 to $750,000, emphasizing the number of alleged victims and labeling him as a “considerable threat” to public safety. Brar has since posted bail and been released. Initially scheduled for arraignment on March 24, 2026, the date has been rescheduled to April 1, with a jury trial set for September 28, 2026.
