The IRGC has claimed to have initiated the operation’s “37th wave” late on a recent Tuesday night, executing multi-layered missile attacks over a span of three hours, which included some of their most powerful missiles.

Response from Israel

In retaliation to Iran’s missile launches, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have disclosed that approximately half of the 300 ballistic missiles fired at Israel were equipped with cluster bomb warheads. On a recent Tuesday, the majority of these missiles were reportedly intercepted; however, one missile carrying a large warhead detonated in an uninhabited area outside Beit Shemesh, located near Jerusalem, without causing any reported injuries. Cluster munitions, which disperse multiple smaller explosives over a wide area, are prohibited under the terms of the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions, but are not signed by Israel, Iran, or the United States.
