The CameraJet toothbrush comes with a hefty price tag of $499, equivalent to approximately Rs 42,000. The pricing reflects the innovative features embedded within the product, which include a built-in camera capable of providing visual feedback during brushing. Available in select markets, it is offered in two striking colour options: Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink.

The CameraJet toothbrush’s standout feature is its integrated camera located within the brush head. According to Dyson, it employs a 100,000-pixel macro lens combined with the Gap Optical Targeting system, designed to detect the spaces between teeth. Operating at a remarkable speed, the device scans 28 images each second to identify gaps in real-time.
Upon detecting a gap, the CameraJet can deliver a targeted burst of mouthrinse in as little as 100 milliseconds. The technology operates on approximately 16 million lines of code. Dyson’s machine-learning system for this device was trained using over 470,000 dental images, underscoring the sophisticated approach taken to enhance user experience.
In terms of cleaning capabilities, Dyson introduces a conical jet design, departing from the typical narrow jet found in conventional water flossers. This innovation facilitates a wider coverage area while operating at lower pressure, thereby providing a gentler cleaning approach. Additionally, the toothbrush features a 12.5ml mouthrinse tank, a dual-bristle head, and variable sonic oscillation, which ensures that bristles remain active during brushing.
