Singh’s roots trace back to a family of farmers. In 1988, he enlisted in the Indian Army, where he dedicated 16 years to serving the country. This period involved postings in various challenging regions, including Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Despite a demanding military lifestyle, Singh maintained a strong focus on education and continually sought knowledge.

During his tenure in the army, Singh maximised his time by using his annual two-month leave to sit for examinations and further his studies. Following his retirement in 2004, he shifted his focus entirely towards academia, transforming his initial passion for education into an unparalleled pursuit that has led to numerous accolades.

According to Singh, his educational qualifications are extensive and diverse, comprising three PhDs, seven undergraduate degrees, 46 postgraduate degrees, 23 diplomas, seven military studies qualifications, and 52 certificates. His academic pursuits cover a wide range of fields, including commerce, law, journalism, and education. Singh has accomplished this remarkable educational achievement through institutions such as IGNOU and Jain University, among others.
