The CSR Journal Magazine

As the Holy Month of Ramadan approaches, Dubai Global Village has confirmed its operating hours and program for 2026, marking the 30th season of the popular destination. The venue will open daily at 5 PM, with closing times set at 1 AM from Sunday to Wednesday and extending to 2 AM from Thursday to Saturday. The park will shift its focus toward evening activities starting from the first day of Ramadan, creating a welcoming environment for families and groups gathering after iftar or seeking late-night outings in an open-air setting.

Ramadan-Themed Decorations

Throughout Ramadan, Dubai Global Village will be beautifully decorated with traditional motifs associated with the season. The park will feature illuminated lanterns, crescent shapes, and warm ambient lighting, along with dedicated photo installations designed to contribute to a peaceful yet festive atmosphere that captures the essence of the Holy Month.

Introduction of Multaqa Space

A significant addition this season is the Multaqa Global Village, designed as a free, tent-style seating area inspired by traditional majlis gatherings. This inviting space encourages social interaction, offering comfortable seating arrangements and soft festoon lighting. Located in front of the Main Stage, visitors will have the option to bring their food from nearby kiosks and rent traditional games, making it suitable for iftar, suhoor, and late-night visits.

Entertainment and Cultural Performances

Evenings at Global Village during Ramadan will showcase a variety of live entertainment on the Main Stage. The lineup includes performances featuring the Orchestra, Oud, Nay, Harp, and Violin, alongside traditional Tannoura shows. A diverse range of live act presentations is planned to engage guests and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan.

Special Programs and Events

Among the highlighted events is “Akher Kalam,” hosted by Maitha Mohammed, which will take place between February 18 and March 18 at 11 PM. Another noteworthy attraction is the “Al Mandoos Live Game Show,” hosted by Abdulla Esmaeel, scheduled for 9:30 PM on three consecutive weekends starting February 20. Additionally, a special drone show is planned for February 20 at 9:30 PM to captivate the audience.

Diverse Dining, Shopping, and Wellness Activities

Visitors to Dubai Global Village can look forward to a wide selection of dining options, with around 250 venues presenting international cuisines for iftar and suhoor. The shopping experience will encompass 30 cultural pavilions that represent over 90 cultures. Moreover, the Ramadan Step Challenge will return via the Global Village app, encouraging guests to complete 10,000 steps during their visit.

Vibrant Evening Hub

This Ramadan, Dubai Global Village aims to transform into a vibrant evening hub, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the festive spirit while enjoying a multitude of activities, from culinary delights to cultural performances. Visitors are encouraged to partake in the unique offerings that highlight the essence of Ramadan during this special season.
