The assembly elections in Bihar may be a few months away, but political parties have already intensified their strategies. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is going to go on a padyatra of 18 districts from August 10 to August 26. This journey is not just an attempt to know the ground reality, but is preparing to lay the electoral wave.

In this padyatra to be held in three phases, Rahul Gandhi will communicate directly with the public, will enthusiasm among the workers and will showcase the power of the opposition in association with the Maha Gathbandhan. The yatra will begin with the famous Tutla Bhavani temple in Rohtas and it is likely to end with a huge rally at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.

Padayatra will be in three phases

A large part of the yatra has been decided as a padyatra, so that Rahul Gandhi will be able to communicate directly among the general public. The routes and dates of the yatra are being finalized, but according to Congress sources, this yatra will play an important role in filling political energy between workers and supporters.

The first phase of Rahul Gandhi’s visit will start from the Tutla Bhavani temple in Sasaram. The Tutla Bhavani Temple is situated on a hill, which is famous for its waterfalls and natural beauty. After this, Caravan will reach Aurangabad and rest there. At the same time, in the second phase, the next day Rahul Gandhi will walk on the route of Gaya, where his public meeting will be organized in Bodh Gaya or Gaya. This program is yet to be finalized by the Congress headquarters.

After the end of the first phase of the journey, Rahul Gandhi’s second phase will be decided from Gaya to Patna through the path of Nawada. Right now work is going on on the route and dates of this phase. In this phase too, contact with the public will be increased through padyatra and public meetings. During the yatra, a huge rally will be organized by the Grand Alliance at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.

Other options of Bihar Padayatra are being considered

There is a plan to showcase power by gathering large crowds of workers and supporters in eight divisions of the state. Apart from Rahul Gandhi, other top leaders of the grand alliance will also attend these rallies. These rallies will be a means of encouraging the workers and strengthening the electoral battle.

Apart from the Tutla Bhavani temple, other options are also being considered for the beginning of the journey. The team from Delhi, along with the leaders of the state Congress, is inspecting some more possible sites so that the journey can be made more effective.

The state Congress has also actively gathered local leaders and workers to make the yatra successful. During the visit, Rahul Gandhi will pay special attention to public meetings as well as meeting common people, listening to their issues and presenting election agenda.
