Mokama’s “Bahubali” former MLA Anant Singh filed his nomination on Tuesday. Before leaving to file nomination, he did a road show in an open jeep, during which a convoy of more than fifty vehicles kept moving with him. Before leaving to participate in the nomination, Anant Singh had made arrangements for food and drinks for thousands of people who came to his rally.

Supporters reached to rail engine to pass train quickly from through crossing

JDU candidate Anant Singh’s road show for nomination came to a halt for some time when the gate of Barh Railway Gumti was closed. When the gate collapsed due to the train crossing, Anant Singh’s convoy got stuck on the way and he had to stop there.

During the incident, Anant Singh was riding in an open jeep and was moving ahead with his supporters in the bright sunlight. When the train did not pass for a long time due to the gate being closed, his supporters got worried and reached near the railway engine and started trying to get the train out quickly.

This time Anant Singh is contesting from Mokama assembly seat on JDU ticket and had come out to file nomination on Monday. It is being told that he is the first candidate to file nomination on JDU ticket in this election. Media personnel and local people were also present at the spot during the incident. After this interruption of a few minutes, as soon as the gate opened, the people in the convoy heaved a sigh of relief and the road show started again.

“Chhote Sarkar” got ticket of JDU

Anant Singh, famous among his supporters as Chhote Sarkar, filed his nomination on Janata Dal United ticket. Earlier in 2020, he had won this seat as an independent candidate. However, after the announcement of punishment in the AK 47 case in 2022, he lost his MLA. In the by-election held after this, his wife Neelam Devi won on RJD ticket. But in 2024, when Nitish Kumar came with NDA, the Singh family also joined NDA and now Anant Singh is once again trying his luck on JDU ticket.
