Dhar expressed his appreciation for the positive reception of the film, acknowledging the support it has garnered both domestically and internationally. He stated, “I am deeply grateful & indebted for the overwhelming love that Dhurandhar: The Revenge has received from audiences across the country and the world.” However, he raised an alarm over specific fabricated images circulating online, which he claims distort the film’s true representation.

One significant example highlighted by Dhar involves an image that inaccurately portrays the character Hamza/Jaskirat in a compromising manner. He described the image, stating, “One such fabricated image falsely depicts the character Hamza/Jaskirat smoking while wearing a turban. This is completely untrue and does not form part of the film or any official material released by us. It is a deliberate act of misrepresentation intended to provoke and create mischief.”

In his message, Dhar stressed the importance of cultural respect, particularly towards the Sikh community. He reaffirmed, “Let me state this unequivocally: I hold the highest respect for the Sikh community, and every portrayal in the film has been handled with utmost sensitivity, dignity, and responsibility.” He condemned the distribution of doctored materials, labelling them as “malicious and dishonest.”

Furthermore, Dhar urged audiences to verify the authenticity of information regarding the film. He also indicated that there would be serious consequences for such actions, stating, “Such acts will be dealt with firmly.”
