A student sustained injuries after jumping onto the metro tracks at Dwarka Sector-14 Metro Station in New Delhi. The incident occurred on March 14, and officials reported that the individual was promptly taken to the Emergency Ward of Indira Gandhi Hospital in Dwarka for medical treatment. According to police, the decision to leap onto the tracks stemmed from feelings of depression associated with looming board examinations. The student suffered injuries to both knees during the incident.

Separate Incident Involves Woman’s Death in North Delhi Hotel

In an unrelated event, a 25-year-old woman was discovered deceased in a hotel room located in North Delhi’s Lahori Gate area. The occurrence took place during the night between March 11 and March 12. Around 12:30 am, staff from Prince Hotel, situated at SPM T-point on Church Mission Road, alerted local police that a guest in Room No. 205 was unresponsive despite repeated attempts to gain access.

Upon arrival, police officers, in conjunction with hotel personnel, forced entry into the locked room. They found the woman lying on the bed, partially wrapped in a blanket, with evidence of blood present. Following the discovery, officials contacted the Crime Team and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to investigate the situation further. When the scene was examined, a significant amount of blood was identified on the bed as well as stains on nearby clothing.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Maujpur, Delhi, and authorities have informed her parents. They arrived at the scene shortly thereafter to address the situation. The investigation is ongoing, as officers collect evidence and examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
