Actress Alia Bhatt marked a special milestone this festive season by hosting her first-ever Christmas celebration at her new six-storey residence, the iconic Krishna Raj Bungalow.
The lavish celebration came just weeks after the family celebrated their last Diwali at their previous home, Vastu. Pictures from the intimate gathering quickly went viral, giving fans a glimpse into Alia’s festive celebrations in her new address.
Family and Close Friends Join the Celebration
The Christmas bash was attended by Alia’s mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt, and close friends including Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Several photos shared by family members showcased warm moments from the evening.
In one widely circulated image shared by Alekha Jain, Alia was also seen posing with her mother-in-law, actress Neetu Kapoor, adding to the family charm of the gathering.
Fashion Highlights from the Festive Night
For the occasion, Alia opted for a chic little black dress, keeping her look elegant yet understated. Shaheen Bhatt stood out in a bold hot pink outfit, while Soni Razdan also chose a classic black ensemble.
Sharing pictures from the party, Shaheen captioned them playfully, “Tis the season, etc, etc,” reflecting the relaxed and cheerful mood of the evening.
Ranbir and Baby Raha Absent from Photos
Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor and the couple’s daughter Raha were noticeably absent from the pictures shared online. While the reason remains unknown, their absence sparked curiosity among fans. The couple has previously kept Raha away from public appearances, choosing privacy over constant media attention.
A Home Steeped in Kapoor Legacy
The Krishna Raj Bungalow holds immense emotional and historical value for the Kapoor family. Originally owned by legendary actor Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, the property was later passed on to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s.
Now, the bungalow marks a new chapter as Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt prepare to carry forward the family legacy. Reports suggest the family may soon move in, possibly choosing an auspicious date for their official housewarming.
Professional Front: What’s Next for Alia and Ranbir
Alia Bhatt was last seen in Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, and will next appear in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe project Alpha, alongside Sharvari. Ranbir Kapoor, meanwhile, is gearing up for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1, scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release. The couple will also reunite onscreen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, much to fans’ excitement.
