UP Board Exam 2026: High Alert Security Deployed at 222 Highly Sensitive Centres!

The CSR Journal Magazine

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced rigorous security arrangements for the UP Board Examination 2026 in an effort to curb cheating and irregularities. A total of 222 examination centres across the state have been classified as highly sensitive, with the board taking extra precautions to uphold the integrity of the exams.

Over 8,000 Examination Centres Set Up Across Uttar Pradesh

In preparation for the 2026 board examinations, a total of 8,033 centres have been designated throughout the state. Out of these, 683 centres have been identified as sensitive, while 222 fall under the highly sensitive category. These classifications are based on past records of examination-related irregularities and the overall security needs of the location.

The education board has stated that additional security personnel and surveillance equipment will be deployed at sensitive centres to monitor activities during the examination period. Measures include the use of CCTV cameras, deployment of police forces, and stricter identity verification for both students and staff involved in conducting the exams.

Increased Vigilance Over 17 Examination Subjects

In addition to securing the centres, UPMSP has identified 17 subjects for which enhanced monitoring will be carried out. These subjects, which have previously seen higher instances of malpractice or controversies, will be under close scrutiny throughout the examination schedule.

District-level control rooms and flying squads will also play an active role in monitoring the exams. Regular inspections are expected during the examination period to ensure that rules and procedures are followed without deviation.

Administrative Focus on Fair and Transparent Conduct

The board has reiterated its commitment to conducting a fair, transparent, and disciplined examination process. All district administrations have been instructed to strictly implement the board’s directives with immediate effect. School principals and examination centre superintendents have also been briefed on the revised protocols and the heightened need for vigilance.

Identification cards for students and supervisors, invigilator attendance, and strong room security have been included in the mandatory standard operating procedures to maintain examination integrity.

UPMSP officials are coordinating with various state departments to ensure smooth execution of these measures. The board aims to create an environment where students can write their exams without external pressure or fear of disruptions.

With the board exams being a critical evaluation point for lakhs of students across Uttar Pradesh, the administration is focusing on maintaining zero tolerance towards any form of academic misconduct or procedural negligence.
