Tata Power honoured at ACEF Asian Leaders Forum & Awards 2020 for two CSR initiatives

Tata Power was bestowed with two Gold Awards and one Silver Award at the recently held 9th ACEF Asian Leaders Forum and Awards 2020 for ‘Excellence in CSR’ and ‘Excellence in Branding & Marketing’.
The company received two golds for ‘Excellence in CSR’ for its ‘Adhikar Champion’ and ‘SaheliWorld’ initiatives across two categories i.e. for Ethical Business Practices Awards and Social Impact Awards under the ‘Best Employee Volunteer Programme’ and ‘Best Corporate – Community Partnership’ sub-categories respectively.
Tata Power also bagged a Silver Award for its ‘Switch off to Switch on – Season 2’ campaign under the ‘Most admired Not for Profit Marketing’ category at the ACEF Asian Leaders Forum and Awards.
The Adhikaar programme is an interlinked socio-economic and scheme-based initiative that aims to inform, enable and empower marginalised communities. The programme also involves self-help groups (SHGs). SaheliWorld is an online platform which aims to showcase handmade products made by rural artisans by providing them with employable skills and employment opportunities. ‘Switch off to Switch on’ is an initiative to create nationwide awareness about the importance of responsible energy consumption and conservation.
