SBI Life extends its support towards holistic development of the underprivileged sections of the society

SBI Life Insurance, under its CSR initiative, extended its support towards holistic development of the underprivileged sections of the society by joining hands with NGOs like; ‘Samarth Bharat Vyaspeeth’ and ‘Shri Akkalkotswami Seva Mandal’.

Through this collaboration, the company will provide financial assistance to set up an ‘On-Grid Solar System’ at Shri Akkalkotswami Seva Mandal which will help save 80% of total electricity energy bill and renovate the ‘Classroom Containers’ of ‘Signal School’ run by Samarth Bharat Vyaspeeth to make the space favourable for the street children.

Anand Pejawar, Operations, IT and International Business at SBI Life Insurance handed over the cheque to Bhatu Sawant, CEO, Samarth Bharat Vyaspeeth (Signal School) and Chintamani Rahatekar, President, Shri Akkalkotswami Seva Mandal (Vruddhashram) in presence of renowned Marathi film fraternity; Vishaka Subhedar, actress and Pushkar Shrotri.
