Abhay Grewal, known as “IIT Baba,” has returned to his hometown of Jhajjar in Haryana following his recent marriage. Having gained prominence during the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, he arrived with his wife Pritika to the excitement of many who gathered to welcome them. Their visit to Jhajjar comes as part of their plans to complete the necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) formalities for opening a bank account together.

During their stay, Abhay took the opportunity to visit his father, Karn Singh Grewal, who is an advocate, at his office located within the tehsil complex. This visit not only allowed for family bonding but also served as a chance for local residents to connect with the couple, with many lining up to capture selfies with Abhay. The joyous atmosphere highlighted the significance of the occasion for both Abhay and the townsfolk.

In interactions with the media, Abhay shared insights about his wife, revealing that she hails from Bengaluru. He expressed that both he and Pritika are aligned in their goals and aspirations.

Family Responsibilities and Future Plans

Upon being questioned regarding his parents, Abhay conveyed his intention to meet them. However, he acknowledged the necessity of prioritising broader family responsibilities at times. This statement reflects his understanding of the balancing act required between personal commitments and wider obligations in his life.

Looking ahead, Abhay discussed his vision for establishing “Shri University,” a project focused on integrating traditional knowledge systems with contemporary academic education. This initiative aims to promote an understanding of various forms of sadhana, which is a spiritual practice that includes meditation. He emphasised the importance of having a clear purpose in education and personal growth.

Abhay articulated that the university will not only focus on academic teaching but will also delve into spiritual practices, thereby creating an environment conducive to holistic development. He firmly believes that for spiritual advancement, one must strive to distance themselves from worldly distractions.

Current Residence and Lifestyle Choices

As for his current living arrangements, Abhay mentioned that he is residing in Himachal Pradesh. This choice appears to align with his aspirations for spiritual growth and the development of a more reflective lifestyle. Living in the serene environment of the mountains is presumably an essential part of his journey towards fulfilling his ambitions.

The visit to Jhajjar not only marks a personal celebration for Abhay but also reiterates his connection to his roots, even as he embarks on future endeavours. His experiences at the Kumbh and subsequent rise to fame have positioned him as an individual keen on blending personal and spiritual goals.

By maintaining ties with his hometown, he demonstrates the importance of community while pursuing broader educational and spiritual objectives. Abhay’s narrative serves as an inspiration to many, showcasing the intersection between traditional values and modern aspirations.
