He expressed that had he been aware of any concerning issues, he would have reconsidered the upcoming marriage. “I have absolutely no information about this case. Had I known anything, I would have taken some action,” he told India Today TV after nearly twelve hours of questioning by Pune Police. His comments reflect a sense of shock regarding the circumstances surrounding his daughter and Ketan’s relationship.

Praveen also elaborated on the astrological compatibility between Siya and Ketan, noting that horoscopes had been matched prior to their engagement. The families reportedly confirmed that many qualities, or gunas, were aligned. According to Hindu customs, an alignment score between 26 and 32 is believed to indicate a favourable match.

Responding to rumours surrounding potential marriage arrangements involving his son and Ketan’s sister, he categorically dismissed such claims as unfounded. He asserted that no such discussions had taken place within their family.

Further addressing allegations concerning lawyer Ashutosh Srivastava, Praveen Goyal insisted that neither he nor any family member had engaged the advocate formally.
