The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to initiate ‘Parivartan Yatras’ across all constituencies in West Bengal as part of its strategy to unseat the ruling Trinamool Congress in the upcoming assembly elections. The yatras will commence on March 1, with participation from prominent BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and party president Nitin Nabin. These leaders will kick off the yatras from various key locations, showcasing unity and strength throughout the districts.

Yatras and Roadshows Scheduled from March 5 to 10

Following the launch, the Parivartan Yatras will proceed from March 5 to March 10, covering diverse regions. Union ministers and state leaders will engage in roadshows, public gatherings, and community outreach events during this period. This initiative aims to invigorate party workers, connect with the electorate, and highlight the shortcomings of the incumbent Trinamool Congress government.

Prime Minister Modi to Address Rally in Mid-March

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to conduct a rally around mid-March to enhance the party’s momentum ahead of the elections. The BJP is concurrently executing a Booth Vijay Abhiyan, which began on February 10, concentrating on reinforcing its grassroots presence. Under this initiative, party workers are meeting groups of 15-20 individuals, engaging various segments of society to disseminate information about central government schemes and their advantages.

Significant Outreach Achievements Reported

Sources indicate that over one lakh such meetings have already taken place across West Bengal, with approximately 50 lakh individuals benefiting from various assistance programs such as PM-Kisan, Ujjwala Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat. By emphasizing these achievements, the BJP aims to foster trust and promote its developmental agenda among voters.

Modi’s Letter to the Electorate

In an effort to further connect with the people, Prime Minister Modi has penned a letter to the citizens of West Bengal, which party workers are distributing throughout the state in anticipation of the assembly elections later this year. In this correspondence, the Prime Minister underscores the importance of the forthcoming elections in determining the state’s future and expresses his commitment to transforming West Bengal into a prosperous and developed region.
