Ujjain Temple Conducts Unique Durability Test for Bridge with Security Guards

The Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain has implemented an unusual “jump test” involving around 300 security personnel to evaluate the strength of a 91-foot-long iron overbridge. This test was conducted in anticipation of the upcoming Nag Panchami festival, which draws significant crowds to the centuries-old Nagchandreshwar temple within the complex.

During the testing procedure, the security guards were instructed to jump simultaneously for a duration of 10 to 15 minutes. The objective was to replicate the intense load that the structure might endure when it is filled with festival attendees.
