Revenue and Land Reforms Department is starting a special initiative to resolve land registration errors in Bihar. Under the Revenue Mahabhiyan, which will run from 16 August to 20 September, every panchayat will now have a special camp, where problems related to the land registration will be solved on the spot.
There will not only be record updates in this campaign but also included in digital documents. The Revenue and Land Reforms Department of the Government of Bihar is once again preparing to give relief to the common people. This time the department itself will reach your door, so that every mistake of your land papers can be removed.
Revenue campaign will run from 16 August to 20 September
Under the revenue Mahabhiyan, which runs from 16 August to 20 September 2025, special camps will be organized in Panchayat Sarkar buildings of all the districts. In these camps, all the important works like updation of Jamabandi errors of the rayoti land, entry of not enlisted Jamabandi lands, nomination and oral Jamabandi will also be dealt with and enrolled in online.
In this connection, a ODI training workshop was organized at Saran Collectorate, Chhapra, in which District Magistrate Aman Sameer informed the officers and revenue workers about the specifics of the campaign. All the zonal officers and light workers including Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector, District Public Grievance Redressal Officer, Land Reform Officer attended the workshop.
What will happen in this Mahabhiyan?
Ownership of Rayati land will be uploaded on the portal. The lands which have not yet been deposited, will be made new entry. Jamabandi land’s ancestors name will be updated in the name of the current owners. Oral Jamabandi will also be recorded in digital records. Every programme will run for door-to-door and accept applications.
After getting all applications, all problems will be solved September 21 to October 30. All officers of revenue department was asked to do this work sincerely and any negligence will not be tolerated.
