Last week, ‘Operation Mahadev’ was carried out by Indian security agencies, and now the identity of the handler of the Pahalgam attack has been revealed along with the route he took.
Three terrorists were killed in Dachigam, J&K. It is said that these three were involved in the Pahalgam attack where 26 people lost their lives. As per a report, the handler named Sajid Saifullah Jatt is the South Kashmir operations chief of LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba), and he is based in Lahore, Pakistan.
His link has been confirmed to the terrorist outfit and he was a part of the funeral prayers held in POJK (Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir). It has been confirmed by the agency that the three people killed — named Suleman Shah, Abu Hamza, and Yasir — were part of LeT and were Pakistani nationals.
How was the link confirmed
The voter IDs and NADRA card (that is the same as Aadhaar card) confirm the nationality of the three terrorists killed. These cards clearly state their origin, and they are from Lahore and Gujranwala in Pakistan. Besides, chocolates that are popular in Pakistan were also found with the terrorists.
Route taken by the terrorists
The agency has confirmed that they crossed the Indian border near Gurez and then took shelter in a hut in Pahalgam. They were helped by two Kashmiri men named Parvaiz and Bashir. The duo has confessed to helping the terrorists. GPS data has also been recovered, and call logs state that a satellite phone was used for their free movement and it was being operated in Pakistan.
