Furthermore, the port visit included a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) between INS Ranvijay and the Royal Navy of Oman vessel, RNOV Sadh, conducted in waters off Salalah, enhancing collaborative tactical skills.

This event included various phases aimed at collaborative maritime security initiatives.

Recent Activities at ADMM-Plus

The EWG-MS JCA commenced on September 21, featuring subject matter expert exchanges and annual meetings involving Navy Chiefs from ASEAN countries. The Indian Naval personnel engaged in discussions covering topics such as peace and security, marine environmental protection, and leadership development. The Harbour Phase also included cultural exchanges featuring sporting events, further enriching the cooperative experience among participants.

During the Sea Phase, Indian Navy vessels carried out coordinated operations encompassing search and rescue missions, hydrographic surveys, and medical evacuations. These activities provided vital opportunities to enhance interoperability and operational coordination, according to the Ministry of Defence. The successful execution of these exercises was pivotal in strengthening the operational readiness of the participating navies.
