Haier Launches Desert Rose AC and New Gadgets in India

Haier has announced the launch of its Desert Rose Super Heavy Duty air conditioner, designed specifically for the Indian summer. This release follows the brand’s strategy of continuously expanding its home appliance range in India, with new products frequently introduced to the market.

This air conditioner incorporates the AI-AtmoX platform, which aims to enhance cooling efficiency during extreme heat. Notable features include AI Climate Control 2.0, which adjusts settings according to user patterns, and an energy-saving mode triggered by AI Human Detection when the room is unoccupied.

In terms of functionality, the unit features AI Pre-Cooling with a geofencing range of up to 100 metres and AI Target Cooling for focused airflow. Moreover, Haier claims its Supersonic Cooling technology allows for rapid temperature reduction, supplemented by AI ODU Cyclone Clean and Frost Self-Clean systems for optimal performance maintenance.

The starting price for the Haier Desert Rose Super Heavy Duty AC is Rs 55,990, and it will be available through various online and offline retail channels across India.

Portronics Launches Air X Air Purifier

Portronics has entered the air purification market with the unveiling of its Air X air purifier, designed to deliver effective air filtration. The device features a True H13 HEPA filter, which reportedly captures up to 99.95 per cent of particles, including harmful PM2.5.

The air purifier employs a comprehensive four-stage purification method that includes a pre-filter, activated carbon layer, cold catalyst, and a UV sterilisation component aimed at neutralising bacteria and viruses. The Air X is also designed to operate quietly, achieving a noise level of 28 dB in sleep mode.

According to the manufacturer, the Air X can purify air in spaces of up to 50 square metres, utilising 310 air intake holes. Additionally, it features a touchscreen control panel and an indicator light to display current air quality levels. The device is priced at Rs 13,599 and is available in a single white colour option with a 12-month warranty.

Blaupunkt Ibiza Speaker and Other Innovations

Blaupunkt has introduced its Ibiza speaker, aimed at consumers who enjoy hosting events or require enhanced audio capabilities. The speaker supports a recording feature, allowing users to save karaoke performances directly onto a USB drive. With an output power of 180W and dual 8-inch woofers, the device promises rich bass alongside dual tweeters for improved sound clarity.

The Ibiza speaker is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery, offering up to 12 hours of playback. It also includes LED lighting effects and multiple equaliser modes, catering to casual listening and live jam sessions. The Blaupunkt Ibiza is now accessible through various online and offline platforms throughout India.

Additionally, EvoFox has launched the Ronin X75 mechanical keyboard, featuring a gasket mount design and a sound damping system. The keyboard supports multi-device connectivity options, including Bluetooth, and is touting a lifespan of up to 60 million keystrokes. Priced at Rs 4,999, it is intended for users seeking a quality typing experience.

Furthermore, Headphone Zone and Juzear have collaborated to release the Defiant earbuds, which utilise a hybrid driver system aimed at delivering an audiophile-grade sound experience without exceeding Rs 10,000. This product includes two variants targeted at specific user needs, with prices starting at Rs 8,999.
