CSR: Orientbell Tiles completes 150 ‘Happy School’ Projects in Rural Areas

Tile manufacturers Orientbell Tiles celebrated the completion of 150 ‘Happy School’ projects which include a few Anganwadi schools as well.

The Happy School CSR initiative started in July 2017 in association with Rotary Bangalore Orchards with a focus on various schools in rural areas of Kolar in Karnataka (which includes Kolar Gold Field, Hoskote, Chikkaballapur, Kanakapura) and to provide them with ceramic tiles to renovate the floors and walls.

This activity has resulted in giving the schools a completely new look while bringing a smile to many children’s faces. In addition to this, there has been a rise in the attendance of young girls as they now have access to clean toilets, especially during menstruation times. We are grateful to the members of the Rotary Bangalore Orchards who have helped us be a part of this important project.
