Suyash Keshari, a 25-year-old Wildlife Presenter, Filmmaker, and Conservationist, has developed a conservation goods brand that will donate 100% of its revenues to environmental projects. The brand was launched with the aim to raise funds for conservation while also allowing individuals to get involved. The programme will enable everyone to make a difference, actively contribute to conservation, and support trendy and ethically created products.
“Wildlife has fascinated me my entire life. It began at a very tender age of four, under the influence and tutelage of my late grandfather. What began as disgust for animals kept in captivity slowly transformed into love and thirst for learning about the last remaining wild places on our planet. This slowly transformed into much more. Now I tell stories through images that I hope would evoke passion in hearts and minds across the world, and urge them to play their part in conserving our beautiful natural heritage,” says Suyash on suyashkeshari.com

The Merchandise

Each of the products and their names has a profound and lasting significance. Merch’s inaugural lineup is named after some of Bandhavgarh National Park’s most prominent sites.
The products are thoughtfully colour-coordinated according to the topography of these areas. For example, the green design depicts the Grasslands of Rajbehra in the Tala Zone, which Suyash describes as the stronghold of the tigress Rajbehra, the first tiger he spotted in Bandhavgarh over a decade ago.
The Sehra hat and buff are named after the Sehra Grasslands in Magdhi Zone, which formerly housed Solo- Rajbhera’s cub, a tigress. The Amelia Leopard takes its name from the famous Amelia Waterhole and Grasslands in Bandhavgarh’s Khitauli Zone. Other designs include classic camouflage and a representation of the elusive black panther.
This apparel collection is the result of a labour of love and gratitude, and 100% of the proceeds from sales are to go to wildlife conservation projects. These include building of water holes in Bandhavgarh National Park’s water-scarce zones.
Suyash and his team had previously organised a conservation project in which they provided solar panels, solar torches, and lamps to each of Bandhavgarh’s 175 Anti-Poaching camps, believing that conservation begins with conserving the conservationists – the forest guards who risk their lives every day to protect our natural heritage. Bags, shoes, and raincoats were also given to the 200+ forest guards.
The team has released Safari buffs/bandanas for 650 INR and Safari caps at 900 INR in the project’s pilot phase, with free shipping across India. GST will be charged if applicable.
