Since then, he has appeared in various soaps, films and reality shows, including Fear Factor. Beyond his obvious good looks, brawn and charisma, the actor was a fan favourite because of his spontaneous acts of charity.

The environmentalist says that Sidharth even wanted to be a part of Bhamla Foundation’s vaccination campaign, Sleeves Up. “He was kind enough to be part of so many of our campaigns that I felt it would be unfair to ask him for more. But Sidharth was upset that I hadn’t asked him!” he told a Bollywood site.

“Saraswati’s drunkard husband poured acid on her while she was sleeping. She was badly burnt with acid. After that incident she is facing physical and economic issues…. She has no source of income. We need to shift her to New Delhi for her treatment in a private hospital. She needs major surgeries, nose and ear treatment. We need to treat and rehabilitate her so that after recovery she is be able to support her two minor children. The Laxmi Foundation humbly request you all to extend help in this effort of rehabilitating Saraswati,” she wrote on Instagram.
Sidharth shared the request on his social media feeds and the contributions went from Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh. Thanking the actor, Laxmi wrote another post.

Sidharth’s first acting job on the small screen was opposite the late actor Pratyusha Banerjee, who played the character of Anandi in Balika Vadhu. She died of an apparent suicide at her Mumbai apartment in 2016. Hardly a soul knew that Sidharth was helping out Pratyusha’s parents since her untimely demise. After Sidharth’s death, Pratyusha’s father Shankar Banerjee revealed that during the Covid-19 lockdown, Sidharth had ‘forcibly sent Rs. 20,000’ to him and his wife, and had also enquired about their well-being.
Shankar Banerjee said that Sidharth Shukla had been in constant touch with them after Pratyusha’s death in 2016. He added that Sidharth Shukla would often ask him over WhatsApp messages if he could help them.
