Zuckerberg Reportedly Asked to Leave Trump’s Oval Office Meeting

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, was reportedly asked to leave the Oval Office by U.S. President Donald Trump for inadvertently entering the office while Trump was having a meeting with his senior military officials.

As per a media report, Zuckerberg had crashed the Oval Office while the discussion on the Air Force’s next-generation fighter jet platform was happening. Military leaders were left shocked. However, it isn’t clear when the incident happened.

Owing to the security concern, Zuckerberg was asked to wait outside the office and later asked to leave so that the ongoing meeting could continue smoothly.
One of the officials shared that the meeting that particular day seemed like a ‘Bizarro world’ and other officials were ‘mystified and a bit unnerved’. However, this statement has been contradicted by the White House.

In a report published by Daily Mail, a senior White House official refuted claims that Zuckerberg was asked to leave the Oval Office, stating that reports of the incident had ‘mischaracterized’ the actual events.

Another unnamed official shared that Zuckerberg had come to say ‘hello’ at Trump’s request and simply left as the President’s meeting had begun with POTUS, which was pre scheduled to happen.

Zuckerberg’s relationship with politics has been complicated. Before supporting the Make America Great Again (MAGA) agenda, he had voiced support for pro-immigration policies and liberal politicians from the Democratic Party.

This isn’t the first time that Zuckerberg has stopped to meet Donald Trump. Earlier, during the inauguration event, he had attended alongside fellow billionaires Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.
