Renowned South Indian actress Sowcar Janaki has passed away, as confirmed by Nadigar Sangam president Nasser. She died on Friday, August 21, at 1.59 pm, leaving behind a legacy in Indian cinema.

Following her demise, Nasser announced that her remains would be made available for public viewing. Fans, colleagues and members of the film industry have been invited to pay their last respects at Centaoph Road in Teynampet, starting from 5 pm on the same day.

This arrangement aims to honour her contributions to the film industry and provide an opportunity for her admirers to express their condolences.
