The Uttar Pradesh government has pledged towards bolstering early childhood education. The move is on full boost under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Government is set to launch the ‘Balvatika Abhiyan’ from April 16 to April 29.
This campaign is titled as ‘Sunehari Shuruaat Balvatika Ke Saath’ (A Golden Beginning with Balvatika). It is designed to provide a structured learning environment for children aged 3 to 6 years. The initiative aims to transform co-located Anganwadi centres into vibrant Balvatika classrooms.
Strengthening Foundations Through Community Involvement
It aims to lay children’s educational foundations while promoting active community participation. Under this initiative, co-located Anganwadi centres have been designated as Balvatika classes to facilitate structured pre-primary learning.
