CM Yogi Champions Public Welfare and Women’s Safety at Janata Darshan and Mission Shakti 5.0

The CSR Journal Magazine

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath continues to place citizen satisfaction and women’s safety at the forefront of governance, addressing public grievances at Janata Darshan and leading impactful campaigns like Mission Shakti 5.0. Through compassionate interaction and targeted initiatives, the Uttar Pradesh government is ensuring inclusive development and empowerment across the state.

CM Listens, Acts Swiftly on Public Grievances

On Monday, CM Yogi Adityanath held a Janata Darshan event, where people from across Uttar Pradesh presented their grievances ranging from police misconduct to revenue, employment, electricity, and financial assistance issues.

The Chief Minister personally received each petition and instructed officials for prompt and fair resolution within a designated timeframe. He emphasized that every complaint should be addressed effectively, adding that “Bringing a smile to someone’s face is equivalent to serving God.”

Creating a compassionate atmosphere, CM Yogi also warmly interacted with children accompanying their parents. He offered them chocolates and encouraged them to study well, reinforcing the human side of governance.

“Ensuring happiness and satisfaction on every citizen’s face is our top priority,” he said. “Janata Darshan is an important platform to bridge the gap between the government and the people.”

Mission Shakti 5.0: Empowering Women

Parallel to his citizen-centric initiatives, CM Yogi’s government is driving a strong campaign for women’s safety and empowerment through Mission Shakti 5.0. Marking International Girl Child Week, the Women and Child Development Department has launched massive self-defense workshops across all districts in the state.

The workshops aim to empower girls and women not just with physical defense skills but also knowledge of legal rights, emergency helplines, and cybersecurity. So far, the campaign has reached over 13.58 lakh people across schools, villages, and community spaces.

Leena Johri, Principal Secretary, Women and Child Development Department, remarked, “Information related to self-defense is as essential as education. This initiative is helping build a secure, inclusive environment for women and children across the state.”

Safety, Awareness, and Self-Reliance as Statewide Priorities

From school classrooms to remote villages, the Yogi government is leaving no stone unturned in creating awareness on women’s safety. Trainers in Mission Shakti emphasize that silence should never be an option in adversity, and that every girl and woman must know how to access support systems effectively.

Students have responded enthusiastically, sharing how the training has boosted their confidence and created a heightened sense of security at home and in public spaces.

By integrating compassion at public forums like Janata Darshan and empowerment through initiatives like Mission Shakti, the UP government is showcasing a dual approach, resolving citizen issues while proactively safeguarding future generations.

A Holistic Vision of Governance

CM Yogi’s administration continues to blend governance with grassroots impact. While Janata Darshan directly addresses the citizens’ immediate problems, Mission Shakti lays the groundwork for a safer and more self-reliant society, especially for women and girls.

Together, these initiatives underscore a model of governance that is responsive, inclusive, and forward-thinking, embodying the government’s resolve to ensure dignity, safety, and satisfaction for every citizen in Uttar Pradesh.
