US President Donald Trump has stated his openness to engage in another summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but only when both parties are ready to discuss a “peace deal” to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. During a press interaction at the Oval Office on Wednesday, Trump responded affirmatively to whether he believed Putin would agree to a new meeting in the near future, indicating that timing is crucial.

Trump expressed a desire for the meeting to occur at a time conducive to negotiations, saying, “I want to do it when we’re ready to do a peace deal.” His approach highlights a strategic viewpoint, focusing on the necessity of conditions that would foster a productive dialogue.
