Telangana Man Hangs Himself After Killing 2 Children, Blames Wife in Suicide Note 

In a very tragic incident from Sangareddy district of Telangana, a man allegedly hanged himself after killing his two children. The deceased have been identified as Subhash, believed to be in his early to mid-40s. Before taking his life he killed his son Rithik Maryan (also referred to as Marin), aged between 12 -13, and his daughter Aaradhya, aged around 9-years-old.

The gruesome discovery was made on Monday at their rented residence in Malkapur village. This comes after the neighbours reported a foul odour from the house in Kondapur mandal.

Disturbing Discovery

According to reports, the decomposed bodies of Subhash and his two children were found after the landlord forced open their door. The landlord was allegedly alerted by concerned neighbours as immense foul odour emerged from the house.

Preliminary investigations, including the review of CCTV footage, suggest that the tragic incident may have unfolded several days prior. The possibility of the crime according to the initial findings was allegedly on the night of April 30th. The Police suspect Subhash killed his children before hanging himself.

Marital Discord as a Potential Motive

Furthermore, reports indicate that Subhash took the drastic step due to ongoing and severe marital issues with his wife, Manjula. Subhash’s wife Mnjula is aged around 35-years-old.

According to reports, Subhash was deeply distressed by his wife’s alleged behaviour. This includes accusations of extramarital affairs. It is reported that Manjula had left their home on April 27th. This followed a series of arguments between her and Subhash. Following which  she went to her parents’ residence in Langar Houz. Manjula however, left their children in Subhash’s care.

Suicide Note Reveals Anguish & Accusations

Upon further investigation, Police recovered a four-page suicide note allegedly written by Subhash. In the note, he explicitly blamed Manjula for his decision to end his life and his children. He penned down his deep emotional suffering and claimed that his wife’s alleged illicit relationships and refusal to change.

In the note he mentions that despite his repeated pleas, Manjula had driven him to this desperate act. Subhash also alleged that Manjula was being manipulated and exploited financially by another man. In addition to this, the suicide note further revealed Subhash’s intentions and planning for his children’s future. He mentioned multiple postal deposits he had made for the kids.

Family History of Marital Issues

Adding a twist and another layer of complexity to the incident, reports indicate that Subhash’s marriage with Manjula was his third. According to police findings, his first wife had divorced him, and his second wife had deserted him. 14 years later he married Manjula, a native of Langar Houz.

Police Investigation Underway

Following the discovery of the bodies and the suicide note Kothaguda police have registered a case. The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. The bodies  of the deceased have been moved to the government hospital in Sangareddy for postmortem examination.

Kondapur Inspector D Venkat is leading the investigation. “According to family members, Subhash’s first wife divorced him and the second wife deserted him,” Kothaguda CI Venkatesh said. “Subhash did not open the door, and alarmed by the foul smell from the house, the landlord alerted us. We broke the door latch and found both the children lying dead on the floor in the hall. Subhash died by suicide in the bedroom. We suspect that he killed both the children before ending his own life,” the Inspector said.
