As part of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in West Bengal, distribution of enumeration forms started from Tuesday, November 4. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) started the work of delivering them door to door. In some places, they are also explaining the public about this form. Help is also being provided to fill up the form physically.

The BLOs will be accompanied by BLAs or agents of political parties. According to the Election Commission, the concerned BLOs will have all the information of the voters. The Election Commission-appointed officials will visit each voter not once, but three times.

From November 4 – December 4 the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will move from door to door with the partially printed enumeration forms matching and linking the voters to the voters list from 2002-2004.

But what if you are not at home at that time when the BLO visited? If you do not meet the BLO, your name will not be left out, right? No need to worry. You can easily contact the BLO appointed by the Election Commission. You can get the name and number of the BLO very easily. This process can be done in a few simple steps.

How to contact your Booth Level Officer (BLO)?

For this, first you have to click on the website of the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal or CEO’s office. The website is- https://ceowestbengal.wb.gov.in/

You have to click on the ELECTORS option there.

Then you have to click on the Find Your Name on the Electoral Roll option.

A page called voters’ service portal will open.

There, enter the information related to the state, language along with the EPIC number.

Click on the VIEW DETAILS option. The numbers of BLO, DEO, ERO will appear.

Also, you can easily find out who the BLO is in your area by using the mobile number or by providing detailed information such as name, date of birth, assembly constituency. Similarly, you will also get the mobile number. From there, you can easily contact the BLOs.
