Samsung Introduces Galaxy S26 FE in India, Expanding Flagship Features Accessibility

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S26 FE in India, marking a significant addition to its Galaxy S26 series. This device is designed to integrate flagship-level camera capabilities and advanced features while targeting a broader audience. The launch highlights Samsung’s commitment to making premium technology more accessible to consumers.

The price of the Galaxy S26 FE in India is set at Rs 79,999 for the model featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage capacity. Customers can choose from three colour options: Pistachio, Blueberry, and Graphite. As part of the introductory offers, purchasers may receive an upgrade bonus of up to Rs 8,000 when trading in an older device. Additionally, many financing options are available.

Samsung is providing no-cost EMI plans for as long as 30 months through selected non-banking financial companies (NBFCs). For customers opting for specific bank cards, there is the potential for a cashback of Rs 7,000, alongside a 12-month no-cost bank EMI option. These offerings aim to enhance the purchasing experience while driving customer engagement.

Specifications of the Galaxy S26 FE

The Galaxy S26 FE is equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,900 nits, which is conducive to superior visibility even in bright conditions. This mobile device is powered by an Exynos 2500 processor for improved performance and a running capacity of 4,900mAh battery.

Cameras also play a crucial role in this new model. It features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel wide lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom. The device is compatible with 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, and Bluetooth 5.4. This ensures users have access to next-generation connectivity options.

Battery capabilities highlight the device’s feature set. With fast charging support of up to 45W, Samsung asserts that the device can achieve approximately 69 per cent charge in just 30 minutes when using a compatible adapter. Additionally, the phone supports 15W fast wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare, enhancing its versatility for users.

The construction of the Galaxy S26 FE measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm and weighs 193g, making it sleek and lightweight. It also carries an IP68 rating, signifying its resistance to water and dust, which further enhances its durability. Samsung has committed to long-term software support, pledging up to seven generations of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates from the date of the global launch.
