Amid the ongoing Budget Session that began on February 6, Chief Minister Kumar questioned the circumstances surrounding the alleged bribery of six MLAs purportedly intended to destabilize his government. He directly challenged Yadav, asking him how much he had allegedly paid to these MLAs and the source of that money.

In a related political development, Anant Singh, an MLA from the Janata Dal (United), completed the oath-taking ceremony in the Bihar Vidhan Sabha. His formal induction was delayed due to his imprisonment in Beur Jail, attributed to his arrest in connection with the murder case of Dularchand Yadav. Singh made his way to the assembly in an ambulance, receiving Kumar’s blessings by touching his feet before taking the oath.
