Authorities in Lucknow are actively pursuing a fashion model and social media influencer, Shraddha Dubey, along with four other suspects, in connection with the alleged murder of Shiva Sharma, a 27-year-old cafe owner. Sharma reportedly fell from the fourth floor of the Awadh Green Apartment on October 9, 2026. Initially, the incident was perceived as an accidental death.

However, a complaint from Sharma’s family alleging assault prompted police to initiate a murder investigation. Sharma’s family has accused Dubey, who was his live-in partner, along with her sister, their driver, and two additional individuals, of murder. According to a police officer stationed in Central Lucknow, efforts are being made to apprehend Dubey and the other accused.

“We are investigating all aspects to establish the facts of the matter,” the officer stated. In a bid to expedite the investigation, Lucknow police have announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for information leading to the arrest of Shraddha Dubey, her sister, and their driver. Six teams have been formed to locate the absconding suspects.

Allegations of Assault and Captivity

Ranjana Sharma, the victim’s mother, has made serious allegations against Dubey, claiming that her son was held captive and subjected to brutal assault prior to his death. She reported that his body displayed multiple injuries, including fractures to the jaw, both eye regions, ribs, and a leg, as well as cigarette burns and scratches.

These claims have raised significant concerns regarding the circumstances surrounding Sharma’s demise. Furthermore, the family alleges that Dubey had been harassing Sharma for several months, threatening him and claiming she would frame him in false cases. They reported that Dubey visited their shop approximately one week before Sharma’s death and issued threats, demanding that they hand him over to her.

The police are currently investigating these allegations to determine their validity. As the investigation unfolds, the police are working diligently to gather evidence and establish a clearer understanding of the events leading to Sharma’s tragic death.
