With the introduction of this train, people associated with Seemanchal and Nepal border will get a fast and comfortable journey. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to flag off this train soon. It is estimated that it can be launched on 15 or 17 September with the inauguration of Purnia Airport.
Easy journey to Seemanchal and Nepal
With the start of Vande Bharat train on Danapur-Jogbani route, the distance from Patna to Nepal border will be very easy. Jogbani is the major station on the Indo-Nepal border, from where passengers can enter Nepal directly by foot or vehicle.
Till now, those going to Seemanchal and Nepal had to travel for hours. But when Vande India starts, this journey will be completed in just eight hours. Passengers will get a luxury chair car, better seating system, high speed internet and train experience equipped with modern facilities.
Possible route of train
According to sources, Vande Bharat Express running from Danapur will stop at the following stations: Pataliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur. Samastipur, Saharsa, Madhepura, Araria, Purnia, Jogbani.
In the morning, the train will open from Jogbani and travel for eight hours and reach Danapur by noon. After opening from Danapur in return, it will reach Jogbani by night. However, the official route and timing is yet to be announced.
Big gift for the people of Seemanchal
This will be the first time that Seemanchal region will get the facility of semi-high-speed train like Vande Bharat directly. In view of the huge demand and crowd of passengers on this route, Railways is planning to run the 16 coach Vande Bharat train.
Railway officials say that the train rack will reach Danapur depot next week. After this, its trial will be run and after successful testing, timing and schedule will be released. A large number of Nepalese patients come in big hospitals in Patna and Bihar for treatment. Till now, he had to travel long and tedious from road or ordinary trains. After the commencement of Vande Bharat Express, his journey will not only be easy, but will also save time.
Not only treatment, people associated with education, employment and tourism will also get direct benefit from this train. This connectivity game will prove to be a changer for those coming from Nepal to Patna or Seemanchal.
