First Look Inside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Rs 250 Crore Six-Storey Luxury Bungalow

The CSR Journal Magazine

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s long-awaited dream residence in Mumbai is finally complete. Valued at around Rs 250 crore, the six-storey mansion has been under construction for years, and a new video has surfaced online offering the first full glimpse of the grand property. The couple, married since April 2022, have been closely involved in overseeing the construction, often visiting with their daughter Raha and family members.

A Home Steeped in Kapoor Family Legacy

This luxurious bungalow carries deep sentimental value for the Kapoor family. Originally owned by legendary Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, the property was passed down to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s. Now, Ranbir and Alia are set to continue the legacy by making it their family home.

The bungalow has reportedly been named in honor of Ranbir’s grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor and is expected to be registered in their daughter Raha’s name, symbolizing a heartfelt gift from the couple to their child.

Design Blends Simplicity with Elegance

The mansion’s exterior features a sleek grey finish softened by abundant greenery on every balcony, breaking the monotony and adding natural charm. Inside, high ceilings and sparkling chandeliers on the first floor hint at the opulent interiors within.

The design is a tasteful blend of modern aesthetics with subtle nods to tradition, reflecting the Kapoor family’s heritage while maintaining contemporary luxury.

Family’s Involvement and Upcoming Move

Ranbir, Alia, and Raha were frequently spotted visiting the site during the months of construction, often accompanied by Neetu Kapoor. Reports suggest the family may soon move in, possibly selecting an auspicious date for the relocation.

Earlier rumors had speculated about a Diwali celebration in the new home, and insiders now say the finishing touches are near completion, with the move-in imminent.

Work and Future Projects

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in the film Jigra and is gearing up for the spy thriller Alpha by Yash Raj Films. Ranbir Kapoor is preparing for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1, set to release on Diwali 2026. The couple will reunite on-screen for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Vicky Kaushal, marking their second film together after Brahmāstra.
