Chandigarh, India: Frontizo Business Services Private Limited has collaborated with Aashman Foundation to set up the learning centre to provide education and skill developmentto the underprivileged children who live in slums with no electricity. The company has contributed Rs. 2.73L towards this initiative, which falls under its Project Aryabhata, aimed at establishing the dreams of children of theslum areas.
The goal of the initiative is to increase employment opportunities for underprivileged youth in India. Project Aryabhata – hope for new inventions – will benefit children in slum areas, enabling them to access decent employment opportunities and compete globally through improved skills, knowledge, and qualifications recognized for quality worldwide.
This initiative will ensure that the children from low socioeconomic backgrounds can access better employment opportunities in both local and overseas job markets. Lack of relevant skills and a mismatch between supply and demand in the market has led to poor employability and lower wages for the underprivileged youth in India. Investing in education and training for these individuals will ensure sustainable economic and social development, contributing to an improvement in productivity and competitiveness.
Mr. Deepak Dhingra, MD & CEO of Frontizo Business said: “Through Project Aryabhata, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children in slum areas and contribute to their well-being and development. Investing in these communities is essential for sustainable growth and prosperity. The project will prioritize people from low socioeconomic backgrounds because their needs are directly related to economic development. It is crucial to improve the employment opportunities for poor youngsters in India through training.”
Mr. Mukul Mehra, Chief Financial Officer added: “Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Providing education and skill training enables individuals to create a better future for themselves and their families. Education and skill development are the foundation of economic and social progress, and we are committed to supporting individuals and communities in pursuing these goals. We are proud to partner with Aashman Foundation to implement this project and make a difference in the lives of those living in poverty.”
