This issue may impact approximately 96 aircraft currently in operation by various airlines in India, primarily Air India Express and Akasa Air.

Air India Express reportedly operates around 53 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, while Akasa Air has 43 of these planes in its fleet. Together, these airlines account for the total of 96 aircraft potentially impacted by the identified software glitch.

In response to the software issue, Boeing has informed all operators of the 737 series.
