The CSR Journal Magazine

Apple has unveiled its latest offerings as part of the 2026 fall collection, featuring the iPhone 18 Pro series, AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12, and the foldable iPhone Duo. The new devices were announced in New Delhi on September 18, with pre-orders commencing for select models earlier this month. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are available in various colors including black, silver, glacier, and an exclusive burgundy finish.

The iPhone 18 Pro series boasts advanced camera capabilities, featuring a 48MP Fusion Main camera equipped with a variable aperture and Pro camera controls. These devices are powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip, alongside a new vapour chamber designed to enhance overall performance, artificial intelligence features, and battery longevity.

Among the significant developments is the iPhone 18 Pro Max, which is said to offer the lengthiest battery life for any Pro model released to date. This feature is anticipated to attract users seeking robust performance.

Pricing Details for iPhone Models

In terms of pricing, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 1,64,900 for the 256GB variant, while the models with greater storage capacity are available at Rs 1,89,900 for 512GB, Rs 2,39,900 for 1TB, and Rs 3,14,900 for the 2TB version. Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro Max begins at Rs 1,79,900 for the 256GB option. Prices increase to Rs 2,04,900 for 512GB, Rs 2,54,900 for 1TB, and Rs 3,29,900 for the 2TB variant.

Despite the considerable pricing, consumer demand appears strong, as evidenced by the long queues outside Apple stores in various cities. Many customers eagerly await the opportunity to purchase the latest devices following their official launch.

In addition to the new phone models, Apple introduced the AirPods 5 featuring Active Noise Cancellation within an open-ear design. The new earbuds reportedly eliminate up to 50 per cent more external noise compared to their predecessor, AirPods 4. The AirPods 5 include features such as Adaptive EQ, hands-free Siri interaction, and extended listening time.

Customer Reactions and Anticipation

Another customer from Bengaluru noted he arrived around 5 am, joining a substantial queue of fellow enthusiasts from regions including Haryana, Delhi, and Mumbai. He remarked on the festive atmosphere surrounding the iPhone launch, describing it as a yearly tradition.

The anticipation for Apple’s latest products reflects not only brand loyalty but also highlights the cultural significance of these launches in India. As major shopping events, they draw in crowds eager to experience the latest technology firsthand.

In addition to the iPhones, the introduction of the new Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 has garnered interest due to features such as heart rate sensing and battery efficiency. Both models are equipped with the S11 chip and have the capability for enhanced health monitoring.

The foldable iPhone Duo, showcasing a 7.6-inch inner display, represents a noteworthy innovation for Apple, reflecting its commitment to pushing technological boundaries. Its launch suggests a shift in consumer electronics towards more versatile and dynamic devices.
