Reliance Industries Chirperson Mukesh Ambani brought his family to participate at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj on Tuesday. All members of the Ambani family including Mukesh Ambani and his mother Kokilaben Ambani along with sons Akash and Anant joined his daughters-in-law Shloka Mehta and Radhika for the particular occasion. The family first arrived by helicopter and then continued their journey in a car to reach the Triveni Sangam before taking a holy bathing ritual in the sacred river.
Ambani family spotted taking a dip
The Ambani family participated in the rituals in simple ethnic wear. Mukesh Ambani wore a blue kurta pajama while Akash wore a multicolored kurta. Shloka Mehta opted for a white anarkali suit. A social media video captured the family sailing on their boat as they approached the river for their sacred bath.
This event coincided with the Magh Purnima, which marks the end of the Kalpvas, a key tradition of the Maha Kumbh. On this day, devotees gather in large numbers at the Sangam to perform religious rituals, including taking a dip in the holy water, offering prayers, and making donations. Mukesh Ambani’s visit to Prayagraj was part of the ongoing Maha Kumbh, which has drawn millions of pilgrims from across the country.
Anil Ambani also visited Maha Kumbh
Earlier, Anil Ambani brought his wife Tina Ambani to Prayagraj for the event. The Ambanis’ visit was marked by tight security, as they were escorted by police officials during their visit to the Sangam.
