Air India and Air India Express to Operate 58 Flights to West Asia on March 12

Air India and Air India Express are set to operate a combined total of 58 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from West Asia on March 12. According to an official announcement, the airlines will each conduct a non-scheduled round trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, departing from Mumbai and Kozhikode, respectively. Additionally, scheduled services will include a total of ten flights to and from Jeddah and eight flights to and from Muscat, with Air India Express managing the latter.

Specifically, Air India will run one round-trip from Delhi and two from Mumbai to Jeddah, while Air India Express will operate one round-trip each from Bengaluru and Kozhikode to Jeddah. The airline will also provide scheduled services to Muscat, featuring one round-trip from both Delhi and Mumbai and two round-trips from Kozhikode.

Non-Scheduled Flights Details

Beyond the scheduled routes, the airlines plan to operate a total of 40 non-scheduled flights to locations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia. These flights are subject to the availability of slots and alignment with other conditions at the respective departure points at the time of operation. All flights are being conducted with the necessary permissions from relevant regulatory authorities in India and the local regions.

International Flight Operations

Air India’s international services to North America, Europe, Australia, and other regions are reported to be operating on schedule, including 78 additional flights planned for destinations like Europe, the United States, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives between March 10 and March 18, 2026. Passengers whose flights are temporarily suspended are offered the flexibility to rebook at no extra cost or to request a full refund.

Passengers holding bookings with Air India are encouraged to manage their rebooking or cancellation requests through the airline’s official website. For assistance, customers can contact the 24-hour customer support hotline at the provided numbers. Similarly, Air India Express passengers traveling from any station in the UAE are allowed to rebook their flights without incurring any additional charges for the additional commercial flights operating between the UAE and India.
