CSR Foundation enhances digital education experience in Mumbai’s BMC Schools

Mumbai, India: Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF), the CSR arm of Mirae Asset’s businesses in India under its Educational Infrastructure Support Program (MAF EISP) in collaboration with Extramarks Education Foundation, Noida, has successfully installed seven new digital classrooms with smart interactive panels in four BMC schools in Mumbai today. This collaborative initiative, part of the Infrastructure Support Program of the Foundation is set to benefit more than 2000 students, marks a significant step towards modernizing education.
The inauguration event, led by Mr. Ritesh Patel, Director of Mirae Asset Foundation and Alok Sinha, Sr. Vice President, Extramarks, unveiled seven new digital classrooms equipped with LED-based Interactive flat panels in four BMC Schools at Andheri and Vile Parle, Mumbai. These seven smart interactive panels, with integrated Extramarks Educational Content are aligned with the New Education Policy (NEP) Guidelines 2020.
Mr. Ritesh Patel, Director, Mirae Asset Foundation emphasized the positive impact of these smart interactive panels, stating, “These installed smart interactive panels will improve the engagement and participation of the students with teachers for new mode of modern learning and access to visual digital content and audio, thus making the learning process more enjoyable and more effective for students. The teacher training sessions will empower teachers to use technology-led teaching into the classroom.”
Mr. Alok Sinha, Sr Vice President, Extramarks, said”, Extramarks is focused on making learning more enjoyable for children and our inbuilt educational content go a long way in improved teaching that makes students future-ready.
