Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A7 Pro in India, marking the introduction of the first ‘Pro’ model in its Redmi A-series. This entry-level smartphone boasts several notable features, including a spacious 6.9-inch display, an IP52 rating for modest dust and water resistance, and an impressive 6300mAh battery. The device will be available in three colour variants. The sale for this model is set to commence on April 15 via Amazon.

The smartphone is designed with a large 6.9-inch display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. It also achieves up to 800 nits of peak brightness, making it suitable for various lighting conditions. Xiaomi claims that the Redmi A7 Pro houses Wet Touch technology 2.0, allowing users to operate the device even with wet or oily fingers. As part of a promotional offer, customers will receive a discount of Rs 1,000 on both models, effectively reducing their prices to Rs 11,499 and Rs 12,499 respectively. This introductory pricing strategy is expected to attract a broad customer base looking for value in their smartphones.
