Fire Tragedy in Arcot: Rajasthan Couple Killed at Ice Cream Shop in Tamil Nadu

A tragic fire at a Mahaveer Ice Cream shop in Arcot, Tamil Nadu, resulted in the deaths of a couple from Rajasthan, as confirmed by local officials. The victims have been identified as Pavan Lal and his spouse, Sundari, who were discovered in a critically burnt state following the conflagration.

Emergency Response

The local Fire and Rescue Services were alerted to the fire and promptly arrived at the scene to tackle the blaze. Firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the flames and managed to rescue two individuals who were trapped inside the establishment. Both victims were transported to the Arcot Government Hospital for emergency treatment soon after being rescued. Despite immediate medical attention and efforts to save them, medical personnel reported that, unfortunately, both Pavan Lal and Sundari succumbed to their injuries shortly after arrival.
