Oppo to Launch F33 Series with Military-Grade Durability on April 15

The CSR Journal Magazine

The upcoming Oppo F33 series is set to be launched in India on April 15, comprising two smartphones: the Oppo F33 and the Oppo F33 Pro. This new lineup places emphasis on robustness and durability, catering to users who require dependable devices in demanding environments.

Durability Features and Specifications

Both the Oppo F33 and F33 Pro are designed with military-grade durability, featuring an IP69K certification. This rating indicates that the devices can endure high-pressure and high-temperature water exposure, rendering them suitable for various outdoor conditions. The smartphones are expected to withstand water jets from multiple angles without suffering damage, making them appealing for professions such as construction and agriculture.

In addition to their water resistance, these smartphones will incorporate an aerospace-grade AM04 aluminium alloy frame, accompanied by AGC DT-STAR D+ screen protection. A unique “airbag” cushioning system within the frame uses foam and silicone pads to absorb impacts, safeguarding crucial components such as the camera, speakers, and battery from unintended falls.

To ensure long-lasting performance, the devices will house a 7000mAh battery, supporting 80W SuperVOOC Flash charging technology. Oppo claims that the battery can retain up to 80 per cent of its capacity even after an impressive 1,830 full charge cycles, which translates to around five years of daily usage.

Camera and Performance Features

In terms of photography, the Oppo F33 Pro will be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera, alongside advanced AI imaging features such as AI Groupfie Expert and AI Portrait Glow. The front-facing camera will also feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, enhancing the quality of selfies and allowing for wider shots in various environments.

Performance-wise, the Oppo F33 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max SoC, ensuring efficient processing and multitasking capabilities. This combination of high-quality optics and strong performance is aimed at users who prioritise both photography and functionality in their smartphones.

The anticipated price for the Oppo F33 Pro is around Rs 35,000, aligning it with mid-range offerings. As with previous models in the Oppo F-series, it is likely to be available predominantly through offline retail channels, enhancing accessibility for customers preferring physical purchases.

Colour Options and Market Expectations

The Oppo F33 Pro will reportedly be offered in three distinct colour options: Misty Forest, Starry Blue, and Passion Red. These choices are designed to appeal to a variety of consumer preferences, allowing users to select a device that suits their personal style.

With the launch of the F33 series, Oppo aims to strengthen its presence in the competitive smartphone market, particularly in sectors that require durable and high-performance devices. The features of these new smartphones are anticipated to resonate well with individuals who need reliable technology while working in harsh conditions.

The series aims not only to provide robust hardware but also to deliver a user-friendly experience through innovative features and design. As the launch date approaches, expectations are high for the Oppo F33 series to meet the demands of a wide range of users.
