IIT Delhi has announced the introduction of two online certification programmes aimed at graduates and professionals interested in advancing their knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI), quantum technology, and leadership skills. These courses are designed to provide a blend of theoretical understanding and practical applications of these rapidly evolving fields.

Executive Programme for Quantum in ML and AI Systems

The first course, titled the Executive Programme for Quantum in Machine Learning (ML) and AI Systems, is structured as an online executive course with a duration of six months. It is set to commence on May 2, 2026, and will conclude on October 31, 2026. The total fee for this programme is Rs 1,30,000, along with an additional 18 per cent GST. Participants who complete the course will receive an e-certificate from the Continuing Education Programme (CEP) of IIT Delhi.

Eligibility for this course is relatively broad, accommodating candidates with educational backgrounds in B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc. in all streams, BCAMCA, and BAMA Mathematics. This inclusivity is aimed at those keen to explore the intersections between quantum concepts and machine learning, along with AI systems.

Applicants are advised that the deadline for submission is April 15, 2026. The online format of the programme is intended to facilitate learning for those who may be simultaneously engaged in professional commitments.

Advance Programme in Technology and AI Leadership

The second offering, known as the Advance Programme in Technology and AI Leadership (Batch 3), spans a duration of seven months. This programme is scheduled to start on July 3, 2026, with an application deadline of June 16, 2026. The programme fee amounts to Rs 1,74,000, plus 18 per cent GST, and it is conducted in collaboration with Emeritus, a leading education service provider.

One of the key modules in this course is “Managing AI and ML for Business,” which emphasises the application of AI technologies in practical settings rather than merely focusing on theoretical knowledge. This approach is designed to prepare participants for real-world challenges in business and technology leadership.

Graduates who have completed 10+2+3 in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply. The online delivery of the programme makes it accessible for working professionals looking to enhance their skills without the need for full-time attendance.
